Poem "homeland" by Paul Warncke (. 13.5.1866 Lübz, - 25.4.1933 Neubabelsberg in Berlin): That allay concern way, that I so gladly at the meadow reason along, and me floats immediately like out of further distance a secretly lovely sound. Here no mountains jut into the airs, flatly lies the green country; selt' ne flowers deep aromas do not give, woke of the sunburn. Before with the dear small city, like intimate the steeple
bluntly and small; and yet - the cathedral so erbaulich to Cologne did not seem at the Rhine to me. A dark forest at the distant horizon, roughly storms, very roughly the wind. I however knows, what sunned through me the heart: Here I was child! |
