I am collector of German and Austrian Notgeld (appox 1915-1923) of all types but a special focus on smaller denominations and non paper banknotes from this period ex. Silk, Wood, Linen etc. I also enjoy collecting banknotes with politically incorrect imagery or wording and this area is well covered by the Notgeld of the period. I also collect world banknotes that I find interesting.

I am a passionate collector and want to bring information about banknotes to people, this is why I founded Banknote Index. I have had much help from the many contributors in creating this site and welcome you to join the project. No single person can complete this task and the more people involved the better the quality of the information and the more information available.

I have a number of other collections but none of them are as large or as active as my banknote collection:

• Stamps and FDCs
• Beer Cans (A new and unexpected collection)
