On 27 September a representative of the Greek liberation government arrived in Kalamata. He recognised the notes which had been issued by the ELAS partisans (see P-0157, P-0158, P-0159, P-0160) after the German withdrawal but also issued new 200,000,000 drachma notes through the branch of the Bank of Greece. Some notes have either Greek or French authentication stamps on the back. Some notes were also issued in the Greek city of Tripoli. These have a stamped seal on the back with the word ΤΡΙΠΟΛΙΣ. This particular note has a French stamp for Kalamata.
