10 Pfennig Bill. A smiling E.S. holds a mirror up to his contented pet owl - thus the origin of his name! The other side of the bill shows a prancing white horse on a green background.

25 Pfennig Bill. The jester in his trademark silly hat admires one of his whimsical creations during his legendary stint as a baker. He baked a delightful coterie of real and magical animals that supposedly came to life! The other side of this bill shows the leaping white horse against a red backdrop framed in bright yellow - a bright cheerful note if there ever was one!

50 Pfennig Bill Eulenspiegel, in full comical attire with bells on his slippers, relaxes with his beloved and his cat. All seem pleasantly soused thanks to the the nearly empty wine bottle he's holding. Even a famous prankster needs a little down time.

75 Pfennig Bill Eulenspiegel, attired in regal finery but not without his trademark toe bells, sits across from his lady love and a huge basket of foods fit for a king. He has apparently conjured up the lucious repast with a mere wave of his hand! 1921 was a year of deep economic and spiritual Depression in Germany and a meal such as the one imagined on this bill must have seemed truly unobtainable without Eulenspiegel's magic. The other side of this bill shows the white horse (the largest of four) running against a red background.
